I love ’em too. Not only is the cord usually too short they usually always have a warning that you are not to use this device with an extension cord. You did read that didn’t you Robert…. Er Robert is that smoke I smell.
I dropped my AC out the window 2 years ago and caught it by the cord—it would have crushed my neighbors tomato plants—and potentially my neighbor if she’d been watering them…
My new AC is much nicer—5,000-BTUs of ‘freeze your ass to death’—and it’s right next to an outlet 🙂
Hahaha … fortunately our AC is fairly secure … for the moment, anyway. It usually works okay, although my wife and I have to barricade ourselves into the one room it keeps cool-ish! 🙂
This one reminds me of the time I had to lift a wall air conditioning unit above my head to install it in a closet in 85 degree heat. Wow that was a bummer. But at least my power chord was long enough…
We have a window unit upstairs in the kidlets playroom, I’m afraid that one of these days that my son with all his wanna be ninja kicks, It will end up outside. Love the Sub Blot it is way cool 🙂
Ha Ha brilliant story. Now you just need an electrician to install a power outlet. Or you could save a few bucks & do it yourself. But I didn’t advise that….
I love the Sub Blot comics. Ha! Ha! Ha!
Thank you, MJ – I appreciate that very much! 🙂

*cough cough*
Aw, come-on now, does that sound like the sort of thing that … *cough cough* … sorry, I might need a minute here *cough cough* …
🙂
Great toon Robert. It’s also good to see that the hair stays spiked at 110 degrees…call it heavy do di. Insert groan here.
Thank you very much, F.J.! At this point I’m afraid Robert’s hair is almost as hard as his head! 🙂
Cord shor, air blow cold. What else is there? O wait I know a recliner and the frito bandito and a couple of 2-liter cokes.
That sounds like a recipe for relaxation, JB! 🙂

I do not envy you, sir! Those bad boys are even heavier than they look, but at least they’re bulky too, right?! 🙂

Hahaha … sounds like a Jackie Chan movie waiting to happen!
Thanks very, much, M.M. – I’m glad something in Inkland is staying cool! 🙂

Fortunately this story is a bit more fiction that fact … I have a feeling that Robert + wiring = 1 even crazier hairstyle! 🙂
Explosion imminent!
Danger! Danger! 🙂
